Our therapists are welcoming, friendly, informative, and empathetic. We provide treatments that are tailored to your personal needs and goals. And we do so in an environment that is comfortable and relaxing, whether at our office or in your home. It is our goal to provide you with a top-quality experience where you and your massage therapist can find space to resonate with one another as you embark on a path of health, well-being, and joy.
Out of consideration for our therapists and other scheduled clients, we have adopted the following policies.
Your time is valuable, as is the time of our therapists. We commit to being ready for your appointment at the scheduled time.
In order to book an appointment and to help ensure the following policies are adhered to, we require a portion of your service fee be paid when you book the appointment. Your treatment time is reserved exclusively for you. We ask that you please respect our scheduling policies.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel with less than 24 hours of notice, then you lose your deposit. If you miss your appointment without notification, then you will be charged the full service fee.
Please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you time to talk with your therapist about your current health concerns and goals and for you to answer any questions your therapist may have.
New clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time so you can complete your Client Intake Form.
Early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened to stay on schedule. The full service fees are charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival.
If your therapist is delayed, we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service fee accordingly.
Rescheduling & Cancellation
Your treatment times are reserved exclusively for you. If you must cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing prior notice, we are often not able to fill that appointment time. This is an inconvenience to your therapist and other clients may have missed that opportunity to receive treatment.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours of notice, then you lose your deposit.

Life is full of unanticipated events and disruptions in our schedules. Meetings run late, kids get sick, and cars break down. If life throws you a curve ball and you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment with Resonance Massage & Bodywork, please call us.
The first time a client misses an appointment, they will be charged 50% of the service fee (which includes the deposit). For every additional missed appointment, they will be charged 100% of the service fee and we may cease scheduling appointments.
If you are sick, please contact us to reschedule.
Resonance Massage & Bodywork requires that you sign a General Liability Release Form at your first session. Clients who have not received a treatment in more than a year may be asked to complete this form again.
Prior to each session, you and your therapist will discuss your treatment plan. You agree to inform your therapist of all medical diagnoses, symptoms, medications, and complaints prior to your treatment.
Needs & Boundaries
It is important that you vocalize your needs during your treatment. The therapists are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, and musical volume and they can work longer on an area or move on, if you request it. At any time, you can refuse the method being utilized by your therapist or stop the treatment completely.
You will always be modestly draped during your treatment. Only the area being massaged will not be draped. You may choose to wear as much clothing as needed for your comfort.
Our body holds on to physical and emotional trauma. Clients may experience an emotional response during their massage, at times unexpectedly. Resonance Massage & Bodywork is a safe environment and our goal is to help you resonate with wellness in mind, body, and spirit. You are welcome to express yourself in moments of emotional release, but you are in no way obligated to. You can also request a moment in privacy or to end the treatment. You are in control of your massage therapy session.
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage therapy.
Any sexual insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request will result in immediate termination of your appointment and a refusal of any and all future appointments with any therapist at Resonance Massage & Bodywork. You will be charged 100% of the service fee, regardless of the length of time spent in your appointment. Please treat your therapist with respect and dignity, just as we will do with you.
We maintain client/therapist confidentiality.
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
We collect such non-personal and personal information for the following purposes:
To provide and operate our Services;
To provide our Members with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
To be able to contact our Visitors and Members with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;
To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;
To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
